You Know the TSA is a Scam

Air Travel is awesome, I prefer the train but Air Travel is the best travel.

The TSA is a scam and this weekend convinced me

Here what happened to me at LAX Sunday after an awesome Saturday with the Ronin Warriors:

Keep in mind that I went through the TSA at Chicago O’hare with zero issues. I go to the TSA in LAX and my water and MCT were confiscated and thrown away. Lets see what the TSA says about this…

Bob Burns : On August, 10 2006, I was serving as the Deputy Director at the FBI. The FBI worked closely with other US Intelligence Community agencies and our close partners in the UK to disrupt the plot to blow up several airliners flying from the UK to the US. I know of the real and present threat those terrorists posed using chemicals disguised as everyday consumer items such as sodas and water. If undetected, I believe there is a high likelihood the terrorists would have killed hundreds of people that day. That’s why we limit the amount of liquids you can bring on a plane.

So if liquids are such a threat why are we the only country that has restrictions in place? The only time any country has liquid restrictions are the ones forced on them for flights going to the United States. England dropped the restrictions and they were the point of origin for the plot.

See how quickly the TSA narrative falls apart?

My $23 bottle of MCT and my water (both harmless) were thrown away for no reason. I know I could have looked at TSA regs but TSA at O’Hare let me through the checkpoint with the items!

Dangerously incompetent, but then it hit me:

TSA is a round-about Corporate-Goverment circle jerk

Think about it

They prohibit you from bringing harmless water that could easily be tested with Ph strips or with bomb sniffing dogs and then they force you to purchase water and coffee for double or triple the normal price.

Unless you don’t like food or water, you will buy something from the airport. There’s no going around it.

Here’s how it works:

TSA – Food Corporations – Lobbyists – Goverment officials receiving kickbacks and bribes – TSA

The cycle perpetuates itself and it boils down to the mob shaking you down for money. Forcing you to pay for things you don’t need by giving you an offer you can’t refuse.

White House Petitions are useless for government reform. The only way to make a dent in the issue is to hurt the corporations funding the TSA and put pressure on government officials to shut down the wasteful DHS and TSA.

Seeing airport “security” reminds me of how freedom in my country hangs on by a thread. They will encroach as long as we let them.

Let me know what you think.

Sincerely,

Marcus

It is a pain and the gov loves having more power over its citizens. It makes it worse when you have unruly and rude trashy passengers in a long flight though. On my way back from Beijing there was a fat ass that shit his pants across the aisle from me. I’m thinking it might be worth it to waste the money and fly first class. #MAM
